Libby is a certified Pilates teacher, focusing on enhancing functional whole body movement for all ages, body types and fitness levels in her Mat classes.
She first practiced Pilates twenty years ago with a yoga instructor to strengthen her lower back. Over time, Libby has found that the core-strengthening exercises of Pilates have not only lessened her back discomfort but have improved her balance, stability, and ability to lead an active life.
Joseph Pilates once said, “you are as young as your spine.”
For Libby this certainly holds true: “I feel stronger than I did in my 30’s – I stand taller and have more energy for sport and daily activities – and I welcome any opportunity to share what I’ve learned about Pilates.”
