General Workshop
Master teacher Hart Lazer is bringing his insight and decades of experience to NataRaj Yoga in March 2009. The basic program will consist of 5 workshops for students of all levels: Hart will leads students into deep openings and strong holds, with explanation about what to look for from specific parts of the body. Hart uses props and explanatory exercises to give students the opportunity to physically experience sensations from muscle groups and movements that they have not felt before, but that are essential to the yoga practice, and to everyday use of the body. Each workshop is a profound physical and emotional experience, as well as being highly informative.
Integral to Hart's teaching is a Buddhist-based approach to recognizing and releasing the emotional knots one encounters in a deep practice. Each of the NataRaj workshops will include led meditations, and demonstrate the practical application of these meditative practices when addressing the psychologocal effects of deep asana.
