Inspired by the work of Sarah Powers & Paul Grilley, this practice focuses on meridian activation and corresponding organs from Chinese Medicine. Entirely seated or lying down, postures are held for a longer time and prolong a passive stretch from the muscle to the connective tissue or "fascia" believed to be the home of the yoga energetic network and meridian system of traditional oriental medicine. This is an intense yet calming practice in mind-body connection and a good preparation for meditation. Participants should perform at least a moderate form of exercise/ physical activity earlier in the day in order that the body be gently warmed up prior to the workshop.

Great new weekend Ashatanga Yoga Class
Saturday, 8:00-9:30 am
For a wonderful start to the weekend come to our new Ashtanga yoga classes with Liat. These classes synthesize breath, bandhas(inner locks), and postures into a meditative flow sequence, which strengthens the body and quiets the mind. Stretch and energize with a dynamic flow practice where each movement is connected to the breath. End the practice with deep relaxation and be ready to enjoy your weekend.
